Every experience, the highs and the lows, has shaped me into the woman I am today. I firmly believe that every woman has a unique backstory. For me, growing up on the South Side of Chicago was far from easy. Homeless at just 13, a teenage mother, and a survivor of domestic abuse – the challenges seemed endless.

But despite the odds, I refused to become a statistic. I took control of my life, determined to write my own destiny. Today, I stand strong and resilient, a survivor.
